  Pros

  I've been using FSPro's Hide Folders for a number of years now. I have also tested a number of other folder hiding applications and none compare with this in terms of options, ease of installation, ease of use, etc. Hide a folder using this application and good luck to anyone snooping on your computer in finding it! One feature I really like is that when you close the application, it can be set to automatically re-hide the open folder. You don't have to do it manually before closing it. Very nice.

  None that I can think of.

  Summary

  I strongly recommend this application above the competition. I doubt you will find one that you will like more.

  Quick and easy to use. Plenty of useful features and settings.

  Cons

  Not very secure. Any folder you hide or lock on a thumb-drive or hard drive, is instantly exposed when the drive is plugged into another system. No protection what-so-ever under those circumstances.

  Summary

  Only suitable for lightweight security on a local system. Shame, cause it's a nice prog.

  Pros

  Very easy to use with numerous features. Simply open it with your password and the folders you choose become visible. Close it and your folders become invisible. Also works in safe mode and does a great job of hiding USB stick folders, as well.

  Cons

  Honestly speaking - there are no cons - at least that I have found, and I have been using this great application for several years.

  Summary

  You really owe it to yourself to give this one a try before settling on any ohter folder hiding application. Once you try it, I think you will agree that it's features are superior to others on the market. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

  the program leave quickly lock, hide folder or make only readeable files in few clic of mouse. Overall very fast en without bugs.

  Pros

  When locking a folder, you cannot take ownership of it, even if your admin. Keeps it secure!

  Cons

  To access the folder again you have to unlock it by opening Hide Folders 2009.

  Summary

  Hide Folders 2009 is a great tool for pc users that have many admins or even normal users that have access to certain files you wish to Lock, Hide, make Read Only, or even Lock & Hide.
