  Pros

  Very professional modeling software, works well with Daz Studio Pro and Bryce Pro which are all free until the end of March 2012. Works on Windows as well

  Cons

  It's only free until the end of March 2012

  Summary

  Even if you don't use it go to Daz3d.com and sign up and put it in your cart so you get a working serial. Daz does tend to go overboard with newsletters so you may want to put a rule in your inbox. Daz3d has been around for years and they are not a fly-by-night outfit.

  "Old news, last updated version was in 2008"

  Pros

  Great modeling capabilities
  Tools for creating content for SecondLife and other virtual worlds

  Cons

  Lacking features from the Windows version like the bridge to Daz Studio.
  The user interface is very Mac unlike and has some major bugs that can slow down operation of the software

  Summary

  DAZ Studio has been very slow to update and fix bugs in hexagon, so think before you click and buy.
