"The best software you can get at about any price."
Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
Pros
Read Flash Drives and load into virtual drive files. Create test data files with hex editor. Hex display and search is terrific. A huge timesaver.

"Great Tool"
Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
Summary
If you know what you are doing (Meaning editing hex and binary) this truly is ONE of the best if not the BEST proggy out there for that. Definatly worth the $50.00.

"A really nice tool for developers!"
Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
Summary
Overall, this is well worth $50 if you need to edit large files. The fact that you can overlay a user defined template over the data is so nice! My only current suggestion for improvement would be to offer an API for plug-ins that would allow the users to handle more complex tasks like displaying the structure overlay data with user defined decryption applied.

"Can't open a big file"
Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
Summary
I need something to edit a 1.5 Gig file (an Outlook .pst). When I attempt to open the file in Hex Workshop it tells me "(X) Operation Completed Successfully" but the file is not open, not other explanation, no idea what the limits are. I've got lots of resources.
Confirmed the installation by opening a small file. -
