"It does what it says it does."
Pros: It ripped my own DVD nicely. no sputter or stutter.
Cons: I didn't see any problems and my OS survived.

"Excellent open source DVD converter. A must have."
Pros: This absolutely free, no nag-ware conversion suite has a slew of features the retail converters just plain lack. It's faster than the bulk of them as well. The output is very clean and completely under your control.
Cons: Might look a bit daunting to non-techies. It's only daunting in appearance though - the organization is well thought out, and the profiles let you convert your DVD's in practically one click. Better than others, where the options are not available.
Summary: A wide and flexible range of output options make this powerful open source, freeware product vastly preferable to anything else I've seen out there. It's almost sad that the nagware and crippleware programs in competition from Handbrake don't bother ... read more

Pros: I love the way it does things, especially it's powerful ripping tools.
Nice interface.Cons: It's better used in the hands of an experienced tech; not the most user friendly.
Needs more formats supported.
