    Version: Halo: Combat Evolved

"The best single player story in a computer game ever"

by CableguyTK on January 22, 2006

    Pros: Great graphics.

    Amazing soundtrack.

Storyline is excellent and really gets you into the game.

All the guns are awesome and fun to use.

Vehicles are an important part of the game.

Gets your heart pumping at times.

The cut scenes are pretty good.

Cons: Movement is kind of slow...quite the change from Unreal Tournament/Quake type games.

Really need a great graphics card to fully enjoy the graphics...as well as get a good framerate in the game. Getting 50fps is your target in this game.

    Story is pretty linear.

    "Cool."

by sirnarekg on June 28, 2006

Pros: Halo is a fun, multiplayer game. There is only one map since this is a demo but that does not stop the other 2 million people who play this. It gets addicting so be aware. ;)

Cons: The fact that its a demo but thats about it.

    "Bungie Outdone themselves like always"

by biscuitAsylum on July 29, 2006

Pros: In the old days while my friends with PC's were playing Wolfenstein and Doom, I was on my Macintosh playing Marathon. Bungie in my mind crafted true FPS in a realistic form with supurb graphics and audio that made you feel alive and at one with the game. Why, it was Macintosh. When they introduced Halo for game consoles and PC they proved a company that crafted award winning games for the Macintosh could very well craft an award winning game for other platforms that would become a hit and a classic. Halo IS supreme graphix, groovy story lines and superb audio wrapped up in one package. It carries on the Marathon tradition superbly. True FPS's were pioneered by the Unreal, Quake and Marathon engines. Your only cheating yourself by not trying the demo.

    "Awsome game"

by mmorpggamer on June 16, 2006

Pros: Game has nice graphics, story is great. Free online play.

Cons: You will need to have a pretty good computer to run the game smoothly. You can just buy the disc at a store for $20.
