Version: HTTrack Website Copier 3.43-7
"free and downloaded my entire website"
Pros: free, easy enough to use and seemingly full featured (just be daring enough to look around in the program and read the options), and works (for offline viewing or archiving)
Cons: satisfactory in the least, but free and really does the job, so it's excellent (just not 5 stars because it added meta data (e.g. "created by HTTrack") to all the pages, but again, free!
Summary: free and works, but note: got a couple nested folders, but did get the entire site in one folder, which I zipped for backup purposes, but since it added the meta data, won't be good for restoration purposes (but the content is certainly backed up and therefor valuable in case of disaster).
Updated on Oct 26, 2009forgot to mention: for me, if restoring, could always use a find-and-replace type of software (like powergrep) to remove the meta data from all the files.
