"Simply the most effective/best universal text editor out there..."
Pros: Nothing beats it. Even the 5-star rated TextPad cannot be an opponent to this program. With HTML, XHTML, CSS, VBSCRIPT, JAVASCRIPT, PERL, PHP, ASP(and more) support, this is the ultimate programming text edior. I recommend this to anyone, from a simple HTML writer to an advanced PERL scriptor. I hope this becomes at popular as TextPad and CNET.com rates this 5-stars, since it is such an effective tool.
Cons: Not popular enough since it's newly released. If more people start downloading this and CNET.com rates it, it will surpass TextPad's ranking.

Version: HTMLPad 2004 Pro 5.3.0.41
Pros: An all-in-one product that lets you stay in a single program to edit .css and .html. Full support for almost every coding language known. Good built-in preview capability and smooth integration with external browsers. As I have become more familiar with the program, I have noted that when I start to think, "I wish it did "this" that it probably does. This program can be used by pro's and it will also help beginners learn to code. Very good email support from the author.
Cons: FTP support is a little weak. It works, it just doesn't have any bells or whistles. WebDav would be nice for a future enhancement.

Cons: I didn't find anything good in that product FTP account kept failing causing my files to go blank!!!
