  Buggy. Stops responding for no apparent reason.

  Summary

  Several times I have lost work due to the program freezing up before I've had a chance to save my work. This type of program makes a person paranoid to use it extensively. But if you can finish before it freezes, it's a great editor.

  This program supports many different file types like XML, php, jsp etc. It provides hints for the users to write HTML code.

  You need extensive knowledge of markup languages to fully utilize the software.

  Pros

  I was looking for a program that would allow me to create a web site with no knowledge of HTML or anything related to web site development. This may be a great program if you actually know something about web site development, which I don't. I doesn't actually say that it's meant for someone like me, so I can't be too critical.

  Not the program I was looking for.

  Not supporting tabbed editing is absolutely inexcusable in 2012. I am uninstalling this product instantly.

  Pros

  Easy to use Reliable Fast loading for previews

  Cons

  Could have a few more bells and whistles to my liking.

  Summary

  For a free basic editor the product delivers. Have used Coffee Cup's free editor, that one just has so many problems when I tried to use it, especially recently. Like slow loading for previews. This product is very reliable and I have not had one problem yet with it.

  Pros

  I was able to check the preview pane after each change of code. That way I was able to catch my mistakes right away.

  Cons

  I had to use Selteco FTP to upload my files because I couldn't figure out how to upload from HTML Kit.

  Summary

  I'll continue to use this program to maintain my site. It does everything but hold my hand.

  Since I can't get a code, I have no idea how good it is...

  I paid 2 weeks ago and still haven't received a code. Emailed their support team 3 times, no response. Great business practice - instantly deduct the $60 from the account and then disappear.

  If you want to get support, or even an unlock code, find another software package.
