This program did what no other program could do! Easy to use once installed. It's still in the process of formatting the drive but from what I can tell it is formatting the whole 500GB.

I could not get this program to work on Windows 7! I kept getting an error saying "you must have administrator permissions to execute" I know it says they tested it on Windows 7 but I tried everything and couldn't get it to work. And I am an admin for that matter I am the only user on the computer and always have been so I'm not sure what happened.
Summary
I purchased a 500GB LaCie HD. The exe file that came on the hard drive wouldn't work with windows 7 or in compatibility mode using Vista. When I tried to format the HD through windows it only showed 1GB of space. In doing some research I found this program recommended to fix the problem. Now that I have installed HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool on a computer with an older version of windows it works great and is formatting the hard drive with no problems.

I literally tried several different recovery programs when my SD cards started showing that the size of them were incorrect. I have an 8GB card that started reading that it was only a 2GB card. I tried many recovery programs that took forever to reformat, only to not fix the initial problem. Then I tried the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and not only did it correct the problem, It did so in only 10 seconds! I would advise anyone who is having difficulty with their card to download this immediately! This is the best Free program that I have ever used! Thank you!

Does the job swapped my external hard drive to fat32.Cons
It takes awhile about 5 mins but at least it works!

Dead simple to use. Allows for FAT32 partitions over 32GB. Works as advertised.

Should really install itself in Program files directory rather than C:\DriveKey as default.
Summary
To those having trouble running this in Windows 7, right-click and 'Run As Administrator'. It's very common for Windows UAC to block a program like this, especially one that can format a drive. This is a Windows security feature, not a failure of this program.

Has the ability to format my USB pendrive which has several partitions and apparently Windows format tool only detected the first partition.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
Should be good for anyone who used their USB pendrive for Linux Live image, or anything of the sort, when Windows format tool can't do it's job properly.
