"ALM QC 11 is complicated and buggy"
Version: HP Quality Center 11
Pros
I strongly recommend do not become guinea pig of giant. The tool has gone out of bound in test arena, The end to end view of its has so many curves that you will never be able to see the other end! :)
I hardly see any pros on QC 10, Sprinter? Never runs, crashes and takes more break then running. Wait till the kid get to age.Cons
Complicated, unserviced. Business module, Release management, Cycle and mile stone confusing, Base Line and Library module is unusable.
It makes no sense to spend (Waste) time and efforts on so many processes those ultimately land everyone confused. If you think that you can always be selective, pick and use which is required, but offering an option and restricting from users is big minus on management. Can you afford to take risks which limit the able management's ability? I won't question.Summary
Wait! Before going on upgrade to ALM 11, Understand and trim useability and modules of this tool, select which is essential and I will say do not migrate from QC 10 if you are on it at this moment. IT's client installation will be headache.
