"Garbage"
Version: HP Precision Scan 3.0.1
Pros
You have to like it, its the only one that works for the scanner.
Cons
Unfortunately it’s the only program that works with recent HP scanners. The default settings are geared towards home use, and require that you change them back to the way you like them every time.
The descreen does very little.
Performance is horrible. I understand that a scanner can only scan so fast, but this program takes forever to load on a modest system.
Maybe I wouldn't have to purchase a cannon scanner if hp would open up their protocols a little.

"SLOW!"
Version: HP Precision Scan 3.0.1
Summary
Slowest program I have EVER SEEN! 25 seconds to launch the window to START a scan! Word on my PC takes all of 4-5 seconds.
