"Outdated and ugly"
Version: HDD Temperature Monitor 1.2
Pros
- works (for some HDDs at least)
Cons
- works for only 30 days
- is not being sold anymore -- so no way to extend trial period
- much better alternatives available (e.g. Argus Montor)Summary
HDD Temperature Monitor is an outdated tool, which is neither sold nor supported by the manufacturer anymore. Therefore it can only be used during the 30 days trial period.
If you are looking for an alternative solution, updated regularly, you might have a look at the most comprehensive tool out there, have a look at ArgusMonitor, which I can highly recommend (it's not free though, but they also offer a 30-day trial). If don't want to pay, then you can try out SpeedFan, which can also read SMART values (wherein the HDD temperature is contained).
