Version: Gunbound client
"A great online game based on Worms"
Pros: It is multiplayer, you can talk to folks from all over the world. There are a dozen of characters to play with, each with different strengths and weaknesses. There are lots of gear to equip your chars with. The interface is pretty, and the game visuals are in good anime style. I also love the music in it. This game may get very addicting after you understand the rules. It can be recommended to practically everyone.
Cons: Well, usually it takes time to wait for other players to complete their turn, so the game is very slow-pace. But if you keep chatting with other people, it is not too bad. Accumulating credits in the game takes very much time, and you can either buy stuff for real money (which is stupid, I think) or play really a lot and earn the money thru battles. There are possibilities to earn a lot of game cash using the yellow character which shoots 5 balls, which jump on ground before exploding. At some point of the game you start lacking good gear, and unless you are willing to pay real cash for it you have to either do a lot of honest battling or make cheats. Both is boring, and finally you either start buying stuff for cash or quit playing.

have you tried Gunbound Revolution? Whaddya think? Gameplay seems to be about the same, though it does seem like there isn't as much lag as in GBWC. UI is different - some things better, some worse. Not sure what I think about the whole launcher change. Having to use IE sux!! But the web site is much better. Softnyx's site is so SLOW! And ijji.com is at least 99% English. The worst thing is all the hacking and response times from ijji. But I guess it's just beta right now......
Gunbound is still the best tho!
