Sometime a bit too big for simple tasks like simple open text file and add word or two (but far better that notepad for that anyway)
Summary
I'd recommend that editor for everyone who do his job in programming or webdev sphere. For me It was pretty messy to use monsters like Visual Studio to edit plain text files like PHP, and GridinSoft Notepad is the best choice for me.

I'm not a programmer also do not use all huge possibilities of this application, I simply often do notes on different subjects and what not to suffer with Word I use notepad, and I've never meet better than this application. And U so get used to it, that any another notepad after it seems ugly and inconvenient.

Summary
I've used this editor for years and keep using it. This editor is one of the most powerful editors that I've met. Lots of color schemes for coding, built-in HEX editor, macroses, spell checker, auto correction and lots of other nice things make your work in that notepad very pleasant. Same time it's pretty easy to start using it because of user-friendly interface. It will suite both for writing a code and as a standard windows notepad replacer for everyday needs.

it has much more than you need from it, so no cons.
Summary
Very stable, easy to use, UI friendly, multifunctional and multilingual text editor. It is really powerful and in fact has nothing common with the Windows Notepad except text editing because it offers 100 times more functions and works with in a different way. It even can work with sql dump files of a great size opening them in few seconds (try to do this in the Windows notepad).
