"By far the best I've found"
Pros
Lightweight, full-featured, fast, clean interface, no bloat or BS, highly customizable depending on your needs.
Cons
I get a little nervous about the fact that the developer hasn't released a new stable version in nearly a year. It's not that I really need him to change anything about the app, it's great as is, but I hope he sticks with it.
Summary
I use screenshot tools all the time and have always been frustrated by ones that were bloated (Jing) or weren't full-featured enough (LightScreen). With the right settings, GreenShot does exactly what I need it to do - copies the screenshot to my clipboard, brings it up in a lightweight editor in case I need to add arrows or labels, and saves it in a "screenshots" folder in case I need to upload or send the file somewhere. The number of screenshots I take per day just for the sake of convenience has at least doubled since I started using GreenShot. This and Notepad++ are my favorite open source apps ever.
