From GreenPrint Technologies :GreenPrint World is a free version of GreenPrint software for home users worldwide. GreenPrint solves a problem nearly every computer user has experienced: The wasteful pages that you didn't intend to print that immediately go in the recycling bin (for example, pages with just a URL, banner ad, legal jargon, or other content you don't need). GreenPrint does this by analyzing the document and then highlighting and removing unnecessary pages. It also makes it easy for the user to then remove any additional unwanted pages. GreenPrint incorporates an easy to use PDF writer to provide an alternative to printing, image removal functionality, and a reporting feature, which keeps track of the number of pages, trees, and money saved.
Version 2.0.4 is a bug fixing release.

"Did Not Work and Trashed my Registry"
Pros: Only the concept, Nothing else.
Cons: It played havoc with my computer. Even though it seemingly installed OK, the first time I tried to use it, my computer froze up.
Summary: It just plain did not work and it caused me grief and a big waste of time.
I used a number of Registry cleaners and more than a few reboots to get my computer back to where it was before I installed it.

Pros: I loved the earlier version
Cons: I deleted the earlier edition,and downloaded the new but a popup kept coming up ststing it could not proceed without deleting the earlier version.I cannot find the earlier version anywhere,but it still will not load the new one,

Pros: I like to eliminate extra printing. Many times I will eliminate the last page of print.You just click on the page you want to eliminate and click on the corresponding icon. Very simple.
Cons: Have had some problem with installation. In all fairness this may be related to problems with the software for my HP Officejet J4580. This all-in-one is nice but the software is problematic.
Summary: Does the job. Very good free app.

"Offered little over Windows print options."
Pros: No significant benefit
Cons: Caused a problem when uninstalled. A greenprint service persisted and continued to try to run causing an error message.

"Not very useful - good idea but...."
Pros: Good idea. OK when it works. Each version has gotten a bit better in terms of speed.
Cons: Had to remove every version I have had. It works for a few days and then starts throwing errors.
Summary: Try it. It might work on your computer and if it does, it is well worth it.
