"So impressive the first time I immediately purchased it"
Version: Grappler 1.0.3
Pros
When functioning as advertised this program searches youtube for your favorite artist, locates all of the relevant videos, allows you to preview each video before selecting it for download. It downloaded 5 videos at a time, enabling me to get as many as 15 videos by the same artist (Roberta Gambarini). After saving, it placed the videos in my iTunes media folder where I could either instantly watch them on big screen using Apple TV or burn them on my desktop computer (required many hours and yielded a playable DVD about 50% of the time--this struck me as the only weakness at the time).
Cons
Very slow burning, even when working optimally. Erratic performance. The 2nd time I used it my downloaded videos were not titled and did not end up in the iTunes folder I had designated. This is the program received the least support by Little App Factory, an Australian company that apparently wants to keep a low profile when it comes to this particular program. Sometimes I can't even find Grappler listed as one of the products sold by its developer! Downloading and burning youtube videos several years ago used to be a cinch. Now its an "iffy" proposition that, even when successful, is apt to lose the patience of many users. I hope Little App stays on top of this program, improves it, and offers support. If so, I recommend it as the best I've tried. But i'll continue to look for better.
Summary
When it works, it leaves nothing to be desired except faster burning times for DVDs. It's the fastest, most convenient and efficient program I've found for obtaining the youtube videos I want to view on Apple TV. But you may wish to search for a complement program for burning the files to disc. (Does Mac the Ripper still offer assistance in this area?)

"Worked once in many attempts"
Version: Grappler 1.0.3
Pros
No pros unless it works reliably
Cons
Can't handle continuing download with dropped/reduced connection? No menu to help with continuing on with interrupted download. Wasted a bunch of time on this app.
