"High quality graphs"
Version: Graphing Calculator 3D 3.2
Pros
The graphs generated especially those for 3D equations look absolutely beautiful and easy to understand.
Cons
None that I can think of.

"Version 3.2 is buggy and not especially easy to use."
Version: Graphing Calculator 3D 3.2
Pros
Free trial.
When it works, it helps me to visualize polygons in 3-space.Cons
I ran into several bugs immediately, doing very simple things
Summary
(1) Despite my experience with 3-D applications, I found rotation hard to control.
(2) I entered 5 points into the data table. Plotting "points" plotted all 5 points. Plotting "lines" or "surface" plotted only 4 points.
(3) I deleted a table entry. An alert appeared demanding a number. I dismissed the alert. The alert reappeared before I could enter a number. I had to force-quit.
Simple things ought to work. The application should allow me to correct an error that it tells me about. I should never have to force quit. -
"Beautiful graphs in Mac OS X"
Version: Graphing Calculator 3D 3.2
Pros
Amazing graph quality, beautiful user interface, precise computation.
Cons
None that I can think of.
Summary
I have tried several of the other math tools for graphing equations in Mac OS X but I wasn't impressed by any of them until I found Graphing Calculator 3D. It generates fantastic graphs with all the cool 3D effects. I highly recommend it.

"Good News - Bad News"
Version: Graphing Calculator 3D 3.2
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Good News---
On the one hand, the complaints about Graphing Calculator 3D not working do not seem to be true for me. It runs just fine on my 1.8 GHz iMac G5 under Mac OS X 10.4.11. I cannot speak for Leopard users.
It is remarkable what the author was able to get Java to do! :-)
Bad News---
The "freeware" listing is misleading. It can run as a limited trial product (full features for 30 days, then limited functions after that)
In fact it is trialware and requires one of two licenses (professional edition - US$49,95 or Professional Edition - US$109.95) to function fully as either a 'standard" or "professional" product.
Borborygmus >:-(
