"what good is a converter that can't handle wmf and emf"
Cons: it can even properly open wmf emf files
(windows meta files and enhanced meta files respectively)

"it does everything I need - almost"
Pros: I am a new Mac user - I do website stuff, this program does almost everything I need it to do, view all kinds of images, simple to use, resize, optimze, save as, etc etc etc
Cons: Doesn't do it all, but they are small and decorative things that I do to images before using over the internet.. it's the best one I've found so far... and can recommend, good luck

Pros: The download was quick. The DMG image opened without a hitch and the simple "drag to Applications" is about as simple as it gets.
The browser is excellent and easy to use.
Cons: None.

"If you have a Mac of any description GraphicConverter is the first App to Get!"
Pros: Often described as, "The poor man's Photoshop" GraphicConverter is a better application than that description would lead you to think. The huge list of formats it deals with are more than anyone could want. Anyone with an Apple/Mac anything should prioritize this as a "first application to download". I can't imagine not having it and that goes back many years.
Cons: Possibly there's some learning to do if you want to get the absolutely full functionality of GraphicConverter but it's something its developer will be glad to direct you with. I know I'm still not making use of all its functions but it's sure not a likely thing that I'll ever need all of those!

"Long time user says lots of power and stability"
Pros: Super wide variety of options and formats, easy to use. simple interface
Cons: Learning what all the graphic formats are - way more than I realized, most of which I don't care about (except that once in a while)
