"I can't imagine life without Graboid!"
Pros
I don't have a televison and don't want one. I use my laptop. Through Graboid, I can watch all the TV shows I want, usually the day after they have aired .... sometimes that night. AND I can watch them when I want. I haven't ever had a problem with quality. I LOVE GRABOID!! I don't use it for movies but maybe I should after reading some positive reviews I've seen on CNET. For the price, you can't beat it .... all the shows I want to see for less than $20 a month.
Cons
Graboid gives me all the TV shows I want except for one of the premium channels. I get those shows through the channel's own online option. In 2 years, I have had 3 shows that didn't download properly. Not bad!!
Summary
I am thrilled with Graboid. I could get HD shows almost all the time, but ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE I was not able to get a show immediately after it aired. If I waited a couple of days, I could get it. At the time, I had the $4.99 per month option. I contacted customer service (they were very helpful I might add) and they said that some HD shows were only available in the $14.99 package. I could get some HD shows immediately but not others. I upgraded, and viola, no problems! For $14.99 a month, I get more shows than I can possibly watch and usually within 24 hours of them airing. I do have a Mac so that may make a difference. I don't think so though. I had a PC when I first subscribed and didn't have any problems then either.
