"My favorite IM program by far"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
No ads ever. The interface is clean and simple. The quality of voice is stunning. With a headset, you can talk as long as you want to friends who also use googletalk for free. If you don't want to talk, you can just chat by logging into your gmail email. It comes with email notifications and easy access to your gmail account. A must have program.
Cons
Not as widely used as msn messenger or AIM or yahoo but its slowly growing popular.

"Like the approach"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
I like the different approach this program takes, the fact it is simple and has no anoying flash adverts that flicker at you all day long. Also, the voice side of it is excelent, and I think the quality even out-does Skype.
Cons
One thing is the lack of features, though this is also a plus because it means it is not overcrouded, depends what your prefer. The major flaw however is that it will only work with GMail accounts, and as good as they are most my friends don't use them (especially the non-tech ones), and so unfortuantly I will not be using this program yet.

"clean, simple, easy"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
very easy to control and use. It has audio and chat.
Cons
You can't attach anything to a message, no email writing program attached, no sound switching, no icons with the check-box...
but simple means simple, clean means clean!

"Sound Quality Need Improvement"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
Google come with simple idea to create this program. Simple interface make it low memory consumption. The only reason im ranking it 4 stars is because of poor voice quality...it take some time to receive voice when me calling my sister at Dubai. But not so bad for beta version and im expecting more improvement for upcoming release. Thank

"A terrific IM service that needs a bit more work"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
One of the best things about this program is that it saves all chats in gmail for future reference. It is also fast and has a clean and simple interface. If you have a lot of friends with gmail and use it yourself it is fantastic.
Cons
This program is a basic IM service with few frills or addons. The overall features and selections still need some work and improvement, but overall the IM is great to have and use.

"Good Program"
Version: Google Talk beta 1.0.0.64
Pros
Easy to use.
Tells you when you get mail and allows you to see who it's from. If you have more than one you can browse through them.
The chat theme can be changed and they are simple and basic, but effective.
Good layout.
Cons
It doesn't have emoticons, just turns that part of the text blue.
