"The only one to use"

Pros
Fantastic capability. Too bad the government restricts the closeup use to only public roads & areas. That is why one can not get closer to some signage, buildings & other properties. But what it does is fantastic. It saves alot of time when traveling to new areas & towns to find where to go, by what the area looks like. Most of the time, Google Maps will provide a overhead view of that area.
Cons
The on-the-ground camera work needs to be reviewed by someone prior to being used by the map application. Most of those problems could be spotted & corrected thru a review. This would also reduce the number of complaints.

The download instructions were clear and step-by-step. They must have been couched in plain English as even someone who has been reading English since 1930 could follow them. After Windows XP had been reset, GE behaved perfectly.
Cons
One comment was a little ambiguous, telling me to download using Firefox, when in fact the download did not appear to use a browser at all.
Summary
CNET seems like a very responsible company, as it contacts me reliably whenever required.
