Version: Google Chrome 0.2.149.30
"GET REAL!!!"
Pros: Simplistic interface. I CAN't THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE!
Cons: It is NOT the fastest browser around and it is pure hype for anyone to say it is. Opera 9.60, Safari, K-Meleon, and Firefox 3(especially with Firetune) are "blazingly" FASTER and in a race would leave this overrated piece of junk in the dust!
Summary: I am using Opera 9.60 which is beta as well. I got to CNET "blazingly" faster than when I TRIED with this piece of junk browser. Quickest browser available?! NOOT! Lightning speed?! Double NOOOOOOT! A waste of download time, RAM, and disk space.
Updated on Oct 16, 2008GET GOOGLE CHROME 0.3.154.3. It is a LOT faster and NOW can compete with other browsers like Opera, Safari, and Firefox. K-Meleon is still awesome. Flock 2.0 is THE best browser, period.
Updated on Oct 27, 2008Maybe I was a bit harsh in my previous entry but I am just lookin out for the consumer. Chrome 0.2 is a good start but Google Chrome 0.3.154.3 is light years better. NOW it is as fast or faster than Opera, Safari, or Forefox(K_Meleon too!). Other download sites like www.MajorGeeks.com have 0.3 and I highly recommend it. Google could still get some add-ons for it, though.

I don't know what's wrong with your computer but Chrome uses way less RAM than bloated Firefox or IE or any of the browsers. On my computer it's lightning fast and puts Opera to shame or even Firefox for that matter. You must have a tiny hard drive because Chrome doesn't use hardly any space on any hard drive. I think you need to get real.
