Version: Google Chrome 0.2.149.30
"Over-hyped, but still a decent browser overall."
Pros: Takes a different direction for a browser, with some small nifty little features. Interface has lot's of eye-candy. Application-Shortcut's is kinda nifty.
Cons: Chrome copies many features from Safari and Firefox, but doesn't live up to their good name. Faster than Internet Explorer, but slow compared to other browsers. No real reason to switch to Chrome, nothing is very compelling. Interface is strange.
Summary: Google's splash into the browser market hasn't gone unnoticed. Although Chrome is Over-hyped, it's still a decent browser overall. Unfortunately, Chrome relies on eye-candy and some small, insignificant features to draw you in. None of the features are anything surpassing anything else you've seen before, however. When I first started using Chrome, I realized that it was basicly Apple's Safari browser, mashed together with Mozilla Firefox 3. It takes most of the features from those browsers, but it doesn't pull them off as well. As for the speed, Chrome is ok. It's definatly faster than Internet Explorer, but if you've used Safari or Firefox, you'll be dissapointed. The laster problem I had with chrome is the interface. It breaks all of the rules of the browser so far. While this may seem like a good thing to some, I ended up being confused and not knowing how to navigate around.
Bottom line is, if you're a Windows user and want an upgrade to a simpler and more modern browser, then Chrome might be for you. If you want power/speed with many useful features, get Firefox instead.

On my computer,Chrome is way faster than all the browsers i've used,including firefox with a fasterfox add-on.
