"Version Numbering Remains Insane"
Version: Google Chrome 8.0.552.224
Pros
It's another browser choice
Cons
Version Numbering Remains Insane
Summary
Version Numbering Remains Insane for Chrome. Microsoft used to pull this scam back when they were trying to overtake and kill the market for Netscape. They jammed the version numbers from 1 to 5 in a ridiculous hurry, as if to infer equality with version 5 on Netscape. What we have here with Chrome is the jamming of the numbering from 1 to 8, with dev version 9 now out, within barely more than a year. At this rate next year at this time we'll be up to version 15. Utterly insane, reflecting nothing but a marketing scam. IOW, you saw it coming: EVIL.

"Could be better for Mac users"
Version: Google Chrome 8.0.552.215
Pros
Nice layout and the tabs are fine. Safari still has them beat, though.
Cons
The most disappointing feature for Chrome on the Mac is its inability to handle embedded video and audio files on web pages. It apparently cannot handle MP3, MP4, M4V and who know what else. Very lame.
Summary
Don't know how well this performs on a PC, but the Mac version isn't worth keeping. Safari is much better.

"Faster than Safari, but some frustrations"
Version: Google Chrome 8.0.552.215
Pros
Looks alright, fast, like the customizable themes
Cons
1. Opens all sites in new tabs. Can't find an option to force it to open new sites in new windows.
2. No warning prompt that I'm about to close multiple tabs. Hate losing 10+ open pages because I accidentally closed the browser instead of the tab.Summary
I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep Chrome or go back to Safari. I would keep Chrome for sure if it wasn't for the two problems mentioned above. I also don't like Chrome's bookmarks as well as Safari's.

"Fast but awkward look and poorly featured"
Version: Google Chrome 8.0.552.215
Pros
Google's habit of stealing data is a main concern. Also keeps on crashing frequently.
Cons
Only plus point it has is that it is as fast as Safari. Have installed it but mostly use Webkit and new Opera
