I don't really like the UI compared to Safari. I wonder what info Google is collecting about my browsing with their browser?
Summary
If I knew how my usage was tracked by Google I'd be more likely to use it but as it is I'll stick with Safari or FF.
BTW I was amazed to see Opera had more downloads than Chrome on CNET!?! Maybe I should check out Opera again after all these years... -

It's fast but can't say it's faster than Safari, not even than iCab on my new Macbook Pro.
Cons
Don't use it because of its' awkward UI, clumsy history and bookmark handling and it's a big memory hog. Eats almost all CPU memory. Bad password management.
Summary
Not for me, may 4 other chrome fans. I still prefer Safari and iCab than Chrome.

Fast. Trouble Free. Can easily do Google searches while browsing the internet. Opens multiple search screens on one page.

Doesn't do a good job of remembering passwords, log-in info

It is faster than safari 5 on my new mac and love the add ons that Google Chrome has and the speak to type is a great feature! And you can get Angry Birds for free!

seems to be fast - but not noticeably faster than Safari
Cons
I go to this website about 95% of the time that I go to the web. If Chrome can't load it, I won't use Chrome. Camino, Firefox, and Safari can on the Macintosh and Internet Explorer can on the PC.
Summary
I personally have no use whatsoever for it. Other people may. My rating was simply what I thought of it FOR ME.

"Memory Hog & Oddly Cumbersome"

There are features I like in Chrome, however, I've not been using it, so Ican hardly remember what they were. As each new update is issued, I try again, but so far Chrome uses far more memory than Safari, even w/less open tabs.
Cons
Crazy high memory use, a sep. quantity of flash used for every tab, & it mounts up fast. Also cannot stand the curiously clumsy, non-user friendly History feature, in trying to clear browser data, an all or nothing thing, unless you do line by line.
Summary
I await the update that fixes this memory drain, until then, it's pretty much unusable...

Very fast. Opening a new tab opens a window with the last 8 web pages visited making it very quick and easy to go to frequently used sites

Really no significant negatives so far
