Summary
Ridiculous claims. You have options in which you can opt in or out of say predictive search and such. It is fast -- very - very fast. There is NO malware. As for advertising, you can use AdBlock and see no ads. As for emails, they are not selling your address to spammers. Where do people get all these strange idea?

Privacy issues and at time takes up a lot of memory. This was noted on twenty test computers. FF and even IE! took up less memory in my tests and these were also conducted with my fellow IT colleagues.
Summary
A very promising browser. The issues I have with this browser is that it remains in the registry files and msconfig after I uninstall it and it shows up as a plugin in other browsers without my consent. I had to use regedit to remove that plugin. Not a good idea for those novice user who don't know how to safely remove files from the Windows registry. The browser does work very well in Ubuntu OS. Fast is a good thing in a browser, but, what I find most important for me personally is privacy and secure browsing. Google Chrome needs to work on that issue. It does indeed show promise for a browser. Until the privacy issue is better addressed IMHO I'll be using FF as my main browser on my computer. It's not that I dislike Google Chrome. It is a nice browser, as an IT professional I prefer FF. In conclusion we all have our favorites and who knows with further improvements Google Chrome just might become my favorite browser. ;)
I'd like to give the browser FIVE stars. It's now my second favorite browser.

I used this browser for about 6 months.It has lots of bells and whistles but it crashed on me more times than i can count.I installed a different browser and that took care of the problem.Just because its Google doesn't mean that it is good.If it works for you then fine.But it didnt work for me.Thanks for reading me review

Speed... Zoom Zoom. What I mean is not only is it quick but it identifies the places I go most and allows me access without bookmarking - speeding me along my self made internet highway. I have access to my gmail, +You, Facebook, Twitter, and other socially distractions at a single click. I do not get spammed with crap-mail like some other reviewer blames Google on... to each their own... I like the simple integration and the constant improvements. All it needs now is... uh... a... winning lotto max number generator? IDK (I don't Know) its really the best browser there is, hands down!
Cons
Its not working with all my regular sites yet... perhaps that is the sites developer who is not working with Chrome... IDK. Regardless, not everything is "perfect".
Summary
If you want access to a simple browser with power than look no further. This is what I think Firefox aimed for but never achieved... though I still like Firefox, I think Chrome is the future. Faster, Better, Stronger

Everything built in on the browser, that means no need to look for separate plugins or anything! Just download and enjoy everything without wasting time.
The best interface!. Very simple, effective and easy to use for new users.

None..well it's a simple one nothing special. And that is the default downloader for chrome..Everything has to be downloaded in order to be opened..when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING!!. I know other browsers like Firefox and IE you can Run or Open certain files, but Chrome don't have the feature which for me it's the only Con with the browser. Which is not a big deal though, but it woulda been great to have that tiny feature in Chrome!.
Summary
In conclusion, I recommend this browser to anyone who likes to surf the web FAST!. Which means all, because i'm sure we all like our web browser to be very fast and reliable. So for anyone who hasn't try Google Chrome yet and it's planing to make a change from their old browser. Please try it! You won't regret it! Once you go Chrome you never go back. Trust me the first time you try this browser, you will feel like you're in your own home! because everything is right there built in on the browser.

well...
it looks like a camel, and its so slow since it installs many services and malwares so they can flood your inbox with ads from all over the world .. i even started to get junk mail from china and in chinese , ffs google, drop dead !Summary

by selling ads..
so they fool you to install this crap so they get your emails, and what you like, and if you buy stuff off the internet, then you are a terrorest in their eyes who deserves to get hanged by their dirty ads..
if you made the mistake of installing this crapware, uninstall it, and if you want my advice , reformat you computer since its the only way to get rid of the crap that you installed along with chrome,
and never do it again.
