"Great for underpowered PCs! Light browser."
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
Extremely fast and "light" program, web apps now offer lots of additional features, tabs protected against crashes
Cons
Extremely fast and "light" program, web apps now offer lots of additional features, tabs protected against crashes
Summary
The first thing users of Chrome will notice is how fast it is. There are some reasons why this is the case, although I don't understand them. There is a video, Why is Google Chrome fast? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QRTkPrFbVQ that attempts to explain how Chrome's speed is unique because of its DOM bindings. This is beyond me, but most users of Chrome will tell you that the software is fast. This partly because the software seems to be light and efficient.
It does seem to take up quite a bit of resources, as each tab will have its own process in task manager. Opening multiple tabs will cost you in available resources, but not so much that you will notice on a good system. My computer is 5 years old, but with it's upgrades it doesn't seem to mind me leaving Chrome open much of the time.
A lot of Firefox fanboys hate Chrome. They don't seem to recognize that Chrome has a place in the browser market. Firefox does offer way more add-ons, but I find that having both Chrome and Firefox on my computer is useful. Like I mentioned, Chrome doesn't use Stumbleupon well. I use Firefox primarly for Stumbleupon these days. I can understand people's loyalty to Firefox, but I think it's nonsense for them to act like Chrome users are idiots. I have lots of browsers installed on my system. I primarily use Firefox and Chrome, as they are the best.
Chrome is worth the download. Especially if you have a slower computer or a netbook. On slower computers or ones with limited resources, installing Chrome makes an immediate difference in the quality of browsing. Chrome's light framework makes it load a lot faster than any other browser. This will come in handy for less powerful computers.
So why not install Chrome? It's free! With the web-apps they recently began offering, there are a lot more integrated features you can get now than in the past. Download it an try it out if you've somehow missed out or avoided this great browser. -

"The Browser I Use"
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
Fast, easy to use, downloads fine, tons of themes and extensions, always updated
Cons
My security program, ZoneAlarm Extreme Security, only allows full functionality with Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Summary
I used to use Firefox all the time and thought that Google Chrome was a joke. Firefox kept crashing or not printing my documents, so I had to find another browser. I tried most of the browser out there and kept coming back to Chrome. After a while I realized that Chrome was the best. I keep Firefox as a backup, but I only use it every once in a blue moon. Chrome is fast, customizable, has tons of extensions and themes, is always updated and much more. It is growing and I am going to stay with it all the way to number 1 browser. Try it exclusively for 2 weeks and you will probably not go back to other browsers.

"Faster And Extremely Stable - Never Crashes!"
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
Fast and stable.
Cons
Didn't like at first until I finally found out how to save your bookmarks. Google needs to address this problem with better available information within the browser (Help).
Summary
Excellent browser fast and stable. Wish I would have given it more time than trying to use Firefox version 3.0 & up which crashes all the time. Firefox version 4.0 beta still crashes so a person is better to stay with Google Chrome.
It is a very simple browser which I did not like at first but found it is faster than Firefox. It seems that Mozilla is going in the same direction as Microsoft and by that I mean putting in features that you do not want but are forced to take. Google Chrome on the other hand is more modular and streamlined. You get a very basic browser and if you want more just add the modules that you want.

"Decent web browser"
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
It's fast and quite stable, has an omnibox, easy to use, also has Adobe Flash Player and PDF viewer integrated into it.
Cons
Lacks add-ons, not as good as Firefox.
Summary
The perfect browser for computers with slow processors or little RAM, but if you have a powerful PC, go with Firefox.

"Doesn't live up to expectations"
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
Fast. Nice set of add-ons like ad-block.
Cons
Broken - continuous "Aw Snap" messages. Doesn't work properly with home or business banking website. Bank does not support Chrome.
Summary
I used Chrome for several weeks and loved it. Fast to start and fast to load pages, with useful ad-ons like ad- and flashblock. Then I started getting 'Aw Snap' messages - they were frequent and annoying. A followed suggestions to fix the issue but nothing worked. Then I downloaded the beta or IE9 and found it's at least as fast (perhaps even faster) than Chrome. And it doesn't break and my bank like it. So I've abandoned Chrome. Nice, but not a commercial product ready for the market. I'm not opposed to Google products by the way -- I pay for Google Apps professional and love it.

"No longer what it once was"
Version: Google Chrome 9.0.597.84
Pros
~~~~~~~~~~
Cons
Slow
Adobe's Shockwave is built in, but all it does is crash once more than one tab is opened all it does is crash.
NO customer support. Best you can hope for is that someone might read your problem on the user forums and post about a rumored fix.Summary
I have been using Chrome for years. It was blazing fast, and didn't crash often using Shockwave the way IE and Firefox did. But in the last two weeks Chrome has slowed WAY down, and now crashes multiple times in less than 5 minutes. Consider me a very displeased Google Chrome user. One who is seriously thinking of uninstalling Chrome entirely and using BING or Yahoo for my searches from now on.
