Version: GoodSync 7.9
"Good But Issues. ."
Pros: Goodsync Demo seems to work fine with simple sync of work station to a backup destination. Demo version also worked on windows server 2003,
Screen designs are some of the best I have seen on sync software.Cons: working with the Goodsync Demo on Windows 2003 server pulling data from other remote servers. Sync is working ok on transfering the data, I had issues with Autostart not starting jobs and the syncing of folder security settings not coming accross.
Summary: I did purchase the Pro version only to find out it does not work at all on a server, unlike other sync programs I have used. I am in the process of trying to get a refund or a credit towards the purchase of the server license.
I opened a ticket with Goodsync concerning server demo issues and am unalble to get answers to my emails that contain more then 1 question. Answers seem to be generic in nature and I questioned if the emails were answered via a computer system.
I did get a phone number after 3 emails for tech support, When I contacted them they were not able answer questions and referred me to someone else for servers. I then left a voice message with no response in over 24 hours.
I am doing my best to purchase the $1,200.00 server software, They are just not able to give me the support I need at this time in answering my questions on if it will work the way I am expecting it to.
