"TRIED MOST SYNC PROGRAMS & THIS WAS THE WINNER"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
Does automatic, backup & scheduled syncs.
Cons
Sometimes, there are too many conflicts that I don't understand.
Summary
I have a desktop, two laptops & multiple monitors. It is very important that my files are instantly & automatically synced. This feature was a deal breaker for me. For the longest time, I used MS ActiveSync which did the job for me. But, when I upgraded to Windows 7, you could no longer use ActiveSync. Instead, MS wanted Win 7 users to use Windows Live Mesh but I wasn't happy with this new program. So, I began the hunt for a new sync program &, if I found the right program, I was willing to pay for it (the MS programs were free). I tried many different sync programs but there was always something I didn't like. Somehow I stumbled upon Good Sync & I liked it. Of course, it had the feature I wanted, instant syncing. I can't say GS is the perfect program but so far, it's the best I've found. Whenever I had a question, GS tech support got right back to me.

"Clearly superior to SyncToy and other tools I've tried"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
Flexibility to set up "jobs" to automatically sync multiple folders/drives, SPEED.
Cons
None encountered so far, except for one minor irritation - when you set up a sync to simply copy files from one place to another as opposed to syncing two folders/drives together, you still need to explicitly edit the options for each job not to propagate deletes.
Summary
Excellent tool with superior speed and flexibility.

"Nothing else I tried worked like this."
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
FAST Efficient Sync of Outlook, Android phone, and laptop PC, effortless fast and efficient with specific detailed user control of what goes in which direction and into what file.
Cons
The user interface was a bit intimidating for me, once it gets going it's too fast to track visually and not hugely intuitive or immediately understandable, but I'm sure most users are more tech savvy than I am. There was a learning curve for me and I am still not there in terms of feeling any mastery of the interface.
Summary
This works. I have clients who contact me daily and had already spent hours trying to sync a new Android with Outlook contacts, notes and tasks, docs, AV presentations, and several different formats. I tried Plaxo and several other services that didn't work. This one did--immediately.
A great program. Impressive in speed and breadth of capabilities. I wish there was a video tutorial for slow learners like me. -
"Lots of bugs, catastrophic suport"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
Nothing I can think of. It looked a good deal when I bought the license, now I regret.
Cons
Lots of features so it looks a good deal. However, product is not yet mature, has lots of bugs (just look at the release notes).
Support is about two persons, and one of them acts like he owns the world, has no respect to customers. Also he has no understanding of what the difference is between feature requests and bugs, and has difficulties understanding that different people have different requirements.Summary
Rather buy another product, or use more free ones for complex scenarios.

"Functional & powerful, Company needs better management"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
Fully functional and powerful product. Works well across platforms and networks.
Cons
Company is out of touch with end users. Lousy upgrade policies. Probably started and still run by an experienced programmer that doesn't know how to market, support and relate to end users.
Summary
Support is knowledgeable but will answer your inquiries by referencing a page in the on-line manual. Even when incorrect they were almost argumentative when I pointed out problem syncing with Amazon S3 servers. Finally fixed problem in regular frequent releases.

"Excellent!"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
It is the answer to all of my problems regarding sign in from other computers. I wished I had it years ago!
Cons
having a bit of a problem sorting the right and left thing out I'm thinking flash drive and computer. Probably my fault but an aggravation never the less.
Summary
Program delivers everything it says and a lot more in the realm of peace of mind and convenience.

"Outstanding product with many useful features"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
You can use GoodSync to synchronize folders and different devices, backup files (including FTP transfers and cloud operations such as Google Drive, Microsoft Skydrive, and Amazon Cloud Drive), and maintain file modification histories. It supports command-line usage and scheduled operations. It can recognize removable drives by name even when the drive-letter changes. I'm sure I have not found all of its capabilities yet. It works well with RoboForm Anywhere to make sure your logins and passwords are synchronized on all devices.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve to get things started.
Summary
I recommend this program to anyone who wants to synchronize files or make backups.
-
"It's better than Win OS backup!"
Version: GoodSync 9
Pros
Easy to backup files. Transfer files. Sync files. One of the best programs I've worked with.
Cons
Can take a little getting used to.
Summary
For me a very important part of my files maintenance systems.
-

Cons
I wish there were a way to group jobs something like subfolders.
-
