I have some files deleted (I could recover from other backup tool)
I am a PRO user. I clicked to update for a new version available. I installed, a after I realized that I need to pay again for the new one !! I cannot return to my previous payed version. This is not fair : it should be informed the user that upgrading implies to pay again for the new version ! -

I had installed on mutiple machines working fine. They started dropping off the direct server one by one until they all failed. Scrambled and randomly delted files. Goodsync idea of support is a 24/7 email that they can be slow to resond to. Calling them is useless if you can find the number. Typical resonses like "is your router UPNP" with no real help. You can get better support if you pay extra. Waste of time and money

Accurate, reliable, fast, provides both safety net for and portability of computer files.

I can't think of a single weakness.
Summary
This is one of my most used and favored apps. Along with a 128GB flash drive, I can keep all my devices up-to-date and even use someone else's computer.
GoodSync continues to simply do a quality job of keeping my computers synchronized.

"Didn't work for me"

I couldn't get it set up and I guess I was expecting something out of the software that it wasn't meant to do. I'd hoped to sync my Windows 7 PC with my Windows 8 laptop to no avail, although their support was quick to reply, they weren't able to explain it to my satisfaction and gave me no option to call them.

Never had any problems with this software and I have tried lots. It syncs as soon as I save a file and keeps my removable drive up to date as I use it to work at home on a PC and at work on a MAC
Cons
It is not as fast as some other sync programs Ive used. When on PC only my fav is SyncBackSE from 2Brightsparks - use on multiple computers for no extra cost and blazing fast. But not much out there I could find for syncing between PC and Mac so stuck with this but two versions shyt deal

Summary
I have used this for several years, both between PCs on the network, and between drives in my PC, and between my windows 6.5 mobile and my PC. It even works between my camera and my PC, far far easier than any Microsoft or camera manufacturers software. It just works, and saves me all of that copy and paste rubbish.

Brilliant software, powerful, flexible, reliable, I am so pleased with Goodsync, I can backup as much or as little as I want, to where I want, as often as I want, either automatically or manually. I couldn't be more impressed! This does everything and more I wanted it to!

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about Goodsync!
Summary
If backing up your precious photos, movies and documents is important to you, I would highly recommend Goodsync.
