With Eagle I can throw together an abundance of flight plans, compare the results, pick the best and run the final out in less time than one half-conceived plan on any of the dozen other planners I've tried. Accessing DUATS from inside is frosting.
Cons
I fly South, particularly Mexico. It would be advantageous for the user to be able to put airports directly into the database. I'm backwards: I like to see how far I've gone. Give me control of the output format and I'll buy the "Pro" version.
Summary
I've used this product for the last couple of years and I wonder why they hid it at the bottom of the DUATS screen amongst the disclaimers and the Lawyer's Chorus where it took me 2,000 hours to find it. It's fast. Intuitive. Responsive zoom control. Intelligent auto-routing. Independent legs and waypoints modifiable on-the-fly. Flexible, responsive rubber-banding. Winds, METARs, TAFs at your fingertips. DUATS faster than you can find the Bookmark. The first profile view I've seen and with MEAs, Class B airspace, winds aloft arrows, clouds and terrain all laid out in instant recognizability. But the best part, nothing handy is more than two-clicks deep. And it has all this portability, connectivity and interface that I haven't even begun to explore.

My firewall scanned it as containing malicious code, said it changes files. could just be recognizing that the program accesses other servers to obtain data for the planning software. My antivirus scan didn't find it dangerous

the calls for a mission on a moments notice allows me to analyze the
