Summary
Goldwave is a great program, and the price can't be beat. I will be using Goldwave to edit many of the tracks on the new album from my hippie hard rock band, Tarpaper Shack, as well as for some web projects I'm working on.

Summary
I downloaded a few sound editors to add wavs to a slide show... this is the only program i found that was easy to use (for a beginner)but still had all the bells and whistles. Learning to use the program was a snap. Nag screens are annoying (you're limited to 150 commands each time you open the program in the trial mode), and $40 to register is a bit expensive; but if you don't need to use the program a lot, or $40 is in your price range, definitely download this product!

Summary
I downloaded seven similar products because I needed to fix a wav file. While some of the other products failed to load the wav file, others performed poorly. Goldwave loaded the file and I was able to solve the problem, although it lacks a way of selecting a specific time interval (I could only select using the mouse). You should give it a try!

Summary
I have mixed feelings about Goldwave! The program is excellent and very easy to use, no faults there. However, I paid by credit card to have it registerd and never received registration information. Tried to contact vendor several times. Use the demo, but I don't advise paying for it!
