Version: Go-OO
"A great alternative to MS-Office"
Pros: I've been an OpenOffice user (mainly Write and Calc) for quite a while, but I've always been annoyed at how long it takes to load. Go-OO itself loads faster, and the files load faster too. I like the larger toolbar buttons in Go-OO.
Cons: The only thing that continues to bug me is that documents very often open in the background. When I open a document, I want that doc to be right there. I'm used to it now, so this is really just a minor gripe.

Users should note that in version 3.0 of OOo, the icon style and size can be changed in the Options-View menu. It's easy to use the same icons as Go-OO, whether at the large sized used in Go-OO or in a smaller size. they are included in OOo 3.
