Without asking it took over my default search engine in all browsers, added tool bars and just junked up my whole PC

You have to read the screens carefully when downloading software. Many downloads will tack on extra toolbars, software, changes. I wish they would leave these options unchecked as the default. Just be vigilant and suspicious of anything you download, even from trusted sites.

Should have read before clicking. plus you can uninstall or are you having trouble doing simple task.

As with much "free" software today, you were given the opportunity during the install process to uncheck unwanted options or they are included in the install. Aparently you left checked the clearly identified option checkboxes which then changed your search engine, added a toolbar etc. etc. Not really Glary Utilities fault since you agreed to accept these "features" by not reading the install screens carefully and unchecking those items which you didn't want.
