    "Just so you know..."

    March 25, 2009  |   By pacificwalter

    Version: Glary Utilities 2.11.0.638

    Pros

Glary's works ok. Same as all the other freeware that does the same thing but doesn't force you to install other content.

    Cons

When you "agree" to install Glary, read the fine print. You are also agreeing to install the ask toolbar with whatever else that involves. (Glary gets a few bucks for every ask toolbar they sneak onto people's computers).

There is no way to "refuse"

"Nice Little Program You'll Like. Five stars."

    March 24, 2009  |   By tlmedia

    Version: Glary Utilities 2.11.0.638

    Pros

Considering it's free, it does a lot you have to pay for elsewhere. The Glary site has a newer edition than 2.11.0.638. It's up to .658, no don't use Cnet if you want the latest verson added 03/24.

    Cons

Nothing that's an issue for me.

    Summary

This is a simple decision. A no brainier. Give it a try. IT'S FREE with no spyware and a full backup of changes. If you don't like it just uninstall. I've never had a Registry problem mentioned by another reviewer. I use Registry First Aid. A wonderful program. Plain and simple...give it a shot. I really like the "Modules Tab" & "Right Click" mouse options. Remember the newest version is on Glary.com. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. I've been using it for more than a year. Have fun!

    "too many false positives"

    March 23, 2009  |

    Version: Glary Utilities 2.11.0.638

    Pros

    Interface looked user friendly

    Cons

Knew I had a dud when it regsitered 405 registry entries. My machine had already been cl;eaned by two of the best cleaners Tuneup Utilities and Advanced System Care both showing a clean registry. I didn't press clean. I uninstalled.

    Summary

    Beware of this product

    Updated on Mar 24, 2009

Retested new .658 version and it showed 430 false positives. It wanted to delete Adobe Shockwave regsitry files and lenova Diagnostics dll's. Definitely agree with my first decision and uninstalled this product. This was tried on both Vista 32 and Vista 64 bit systems with Antivirus applications disbled. I suggest anyone to run either Advanced Systemcare or Tuneup Utilities first; allow those programs to clean registry and then try Glary Utilities. If it shows as many false positives as my system did. Don't run clean...uninstall.

    March 22, 2009  |   By nakaosan

    Version: Glary Utilities 2.11.0.638

    Pros

For a free product, it does what my previous utilities program did, only more quickly, and it worked without a hitch and did not interfere with other programs.

    Cons

    none of any significance.

    "Amazing at what it does."

    March 22, 2009  |   By the 1 knight

    Version: Glary Utilities 2.11.0.638

    Pros

Does what it says in the script. Plus I found it to be very fast. To date I relied on Advanced Windows Care for registry cleaning, but Glary Itls does the job much quicker.

    Cons

It's not an all in one wonder, that said it's FREE.
