I've used several registry repair tools that I purchased prior to finding Glary Utilities. None of which would fix my Vista desktop. My desktop was doing some pretty crazy things. It would not shut down and everyday it would just hang not allowing any programs to start. This utility found 400+ problems in my registry and fixed my desktop to where is it is working as it should have been. I had become very anti Vista... but not now.
This is a great program that I'm amazed is offered for free. Thank you Glarysoft for making this wonderful program available for free and most importantly fixing my desktop!

I was trying to use this program to find duplicated media files on my computer. It did not work so well because it would only find the duplicates if they were the same flie type. So if I had 3 of the same songs in my media library and one was .wma one was .aac and one was .mp3 it would not find the duplicates even though the file name was the same because the extention was diffrent.

Much less overhead than Norton Systemworks. I got tired of the various problems with Norton (registering problems and uninstalling issues).

i have to say that this is probably the best software ive used. just great and fast scanning and cleaning and does not leave anything out. i use this with tuneup util's disk defrag to complete the package!

There are so many different things it does to help your computer. It fixes registry problems, finds and deletes duplicate folders, tells you what programs run on startup (and says which are necessary and which are not), finds and deletes empty folders, deletes traces better than Crap Cleaner and so much more. The scans are quick, it doesn't slow down your computer at all and takes up only 5mb. I don't think you could get a better program like this if you paid for it. A must have for anyone.
