It is the reputation of CNET and the DOWNLOAD.COM site that is at risk here. They need to understand that how loose they are in their definition of FREE takes away from their overall credibility. This software is not FREE TO USE unless it has an addition feature that is independent of the service it is simply a tool for connecting to. Hey AOL and TotalAccess are FREE by your definition but what good are they without an account on the service they were written to use? Here is some FREE charcoal. The match will cost you $5.00 or you can choose to stare at it for nothing.
