MeggieSoft's take on gin rummy is a nicely done variation of the classic card game. Played against your PC, it normally sticks to the official rules from Hoyle's Rules of Games, but it fully supports the Oklahoma Gin variant and the Hollywood scoring method as well. If gin rummy is new to you, the program has an in-depth online help, which explains all facets of play. Features include six levels of skill for your computer opponents, game score history information for up to 12 named players, card animation with animated turning, and drag-and-drop or point-and-click mouse operation. You'll also find customizable color schemes, sound effects, MIDI file support, card back and table graphics, and onscreen score sheets.
