Version: GetAnonymous Professional 2.1
"Does want He wants to !"
Summary: I bought the fully functionnal professional edition and got it from two mouths now. At first sight it seems to work great, for browsing, P2P and so on. It's really slowing your connexions with IE6 but seems to be much faster with Mozilla firefox. It works, it hides your IP adress (tested on sites without a HTTPS, it doesn't work out with it).
Don't expect any help from the editor and just a few more from the help files.
Don't try to put your own proxy server list, it does what he wants to : I've got Norton IS witch provide me with all my internet connexions. I put six proxy servers in a text document and used them as my only desired proxies, all were in US (tested with "use get anonymous proxies" selected or not. Get anonymous connected by some proxies from Thailand, China, Algeria and so on. I compared the IP in NIS, I still don't know were he picked them up from !
It doesn't work out with any of P2P softwares : it said it's connecting thru proxies, when it works, but NIS prove it's not true.
