Moreover, Get File Size will show you the date when the file was last modified, file type, server response time and response headers, estimated download time. If the requested file is an image, Get File Size will determine the image dimensions before you start downloading the image.
New in version 2.2: Displays server response headers in the main window; enables auto complete for the URL edit box; download button added.

Version: Get File Size 2.2
"Nice freeware plugin for Internet Explorer."
Pros: Its free.
It adds something that is sorely needed for Internet Explorer...find the filesize of a download without having to initiate the download.
Cons: Interface is fair. I would prefer if it appeared more like Internet Explorer.

Version: Get File Size 2.2
Pros: Tiny little program prevents you from making huge mistakes by downloading something that's 50MB when you thought you were downloading 5MB! Simple interface has all that you require to access the information. Has other features, but file size is all you'll need!
