After confirming that you want to perform an update, WebUpdater will download that update for you and install it on your GPS. Pros
It was easy to set up and download though it seemed to take an exceptionally long time.
Cons
Not sure how reliable. I live in a cul-de-sac of 17 houses and it informs me I'm outside no. 34!

Pros
Before I downloaded this, if there were updates to my maps, I would get a pop-up message at startup. I would plug my life-saving Garmin into the computer, and off it would go. Would tell me when it was complete, and that was that.
Cons
Since downloaded this, my computer checks every morning at startup with a whole window opening telling me the status of my Garmin, i.e., if there are any new maps to download, etc. Every time I turn the computer on, I get this full page notification. Annoying, but I'll leave it for now.

I have no clue what changed with this update, but maybe that's a sign of a "seamless" computer program, that it works its magic without the naive user realizing what happened!
