It just works- well. Insanely well.

None. Surprisingly efficient on even an iPhone.

Get an Apple device and you get this and much, much more. Disclaimer- I don't work for Apple nor do I receive any salary from them. Just an objective, but enthusiastic tech support specialist.
I will never understand why people subject themselves to Windows.

Pros
As I said, more control over how I want my songs to sound, i.e. how appealing the song is to me and others. I don't a Mac, but looking from a perspective, it is harder to compose a song on a Mac than on an iOS device. So, that's is why I like the iOS version (particularly on my iPod Touch) more than the Mac version.
Cons
Although I get control, I feel a bit tight with the UI on the iPod Touch than on the iPad. Also, I wish GarageBand files can be edited on a PC, ie I wish there was a PC version of GarageBand so that I can edit the sounds and what not.
Summary
Overall, this app is awesome giving you the control of making music on the iPod Touch with an intuitive UI. But again, wish Apple could make a PC version of Garageband (which I know that it won't happen) for me to do more editing. Get up with the good work Apple, and R.I.P. Steve.
