    "Spend hours setting this up"

    June 21, 2008  |   By BrianZachary

    Pros

It seems to be a convenient way to keep all your emulators into one bundled program. I say "seems to" for the reasons listen in the Cons.

    Cons

Once this is installed and after restarting the computer, the setup wizard pops up for this program. Ok, that's fine. A lot of programs have a setup wizard. No problem.

The problem is that it has a LOT of options to go through in the setup wizard, and I mean a LOT of them. I spent literally HOURS going through everything, at least 3 hours, and I finally got tired of it and just exited the setup wizard and uninstalled the program.

I understand there are a lot of individual emulators and everything, but when you have to go through each one's settings right away through this program, and it takes that long to do so, it can easily put off anyone who doesn't have that much patience.

I think it would be better to just set up the options for this program itself, then each emulator as you use them the first time. That would make more sense to me.

If you are the type of person who likes video games, you might give this a try, but if you have no patience to sit and go through ten million options, you probably will want to steer clear of this program. Maybe they will make it better in a future version.
