I was led to believe it was free because I only searched for free but it says I have to buy it to use it. Not to download it, but to use it. I uninstalled of course.

I have no idea because the program will not install correctly on my system.

I have had and installed the previous versoon of Game Maker and enjoyed it, so I decided to upgrade to the newest version. After I downloaded the program, and started to install, everything started to go wrong. Several files had problems installing on this program, and now the program will not run at all.

I am terribly disappointed with both CNET and the creators of Game Maker. This software doesn't even deserve the rating I have given it in my opinion because of the installation issues I experienced. I have downloaded some pretty good software from CNET download.com, I would honestly like to continue doing just that, but when junk like this program and in CNET download.com, I begin to wonder why I even come here. I do not apologize for my review of this program.
