I heard the gamebox has a limit.Summary
Review and walkthrough for getting better gaming performance!
Used 3.4 beta also, but did not see any difference in frame-rate and so no improvement for me.
But when using 3.5 Beta on my 7 month old Asus laptop, the games ran better and really improved the system plus gaming experience.
Modern Warfare 3 now runs fast and smooth on highest resolution with Geforge 610M.
I used a lot of gaming boosters like Mz Game Accelerator, GBooster and Wise Game Booster.
A lot of these game boosters also worked great, but wise game booster made my older desktop worse with disabling certain aero effects and speeding up system speedup items/options that made the system go into slow motion instead of speed.
At this point i use Wise Game Booster for optimizing the three stability options in system optimizer (works almost like spywareblaster where it just runs in the background without interruption).
Next to that i just use Iobit's gamebooster 3.5 beta for temporary shutting down certain processes and services.
Leaving at standard settings when you almost have no processes in the background is good enough.
But when you have a manufactured desktop or laptop with a lot of bloatware, i would suggest you also manually select processes.
Right click on a process and click on more information will bring you to iobit's process information page with user advice.
On laptop i also use gamebooster's tweaks through tools tab, but have not used it on older desktop.
Like mentioned before, i use wise game booster for optimizing certain system parts/options.
I also used gamebooster 3.5 beta in combination with Mz Game Accelerator (available at softpedia) which also did an amazing job.
But it did not ran perfect all the time because gamebooster and mz optimizer ran at the same time. (maybe conflicts)
If you use gamebooster 3.5 beta, i would suggest you also have a good and safe optimize cleaner program like for example CCleaner, Jetclean or ToolWiz Care. Also Auslogics disk defrag is great.
A ram cleaner like for example Minimem would also work great if you only have 4GB ram or less.
As it go's for drivers, i always update my videocard and audio drivers manually from official websites.
Also intel auto driver update utitility from intel website and driverpack solution 2012 (always advanced install for me) work great for updating and installing new drivers.
If you still don't like gamebooster 3.5 beta, i would suggest you test GBooster or Wise Game Booster.
But gamebooster (or GBoost) in combination with MSI Afterburner should also work great.
But be aware, afterburner is a graphics card overclock program and only use standard auto settings with MSI Afterburner if you don't know what you are doing.
