The media player works well and is my choice normally.
Cons
The annoying popup trying to sell different downloads is irritating. If I can't figure out how to disable it I will be up loading a new media player. No response from the GOM support personnel.

Sad to see this excellent program being used by a not so good program installing the later's product Gom update installs avg toolbar and changes your browser settings without your permission. Whats a browser toolbar installer doing in a media player update?

No more cons because the adware has been disabled since version 2.1.40.5106 as of April 18, 2012.
