Many many features, some unique in their own ways
Accurate results
Strong community that provide users with rosters updates, images and soundtrack packs.
Set itself apart from other sims games, putting the accent on the general manager tasksCons
Overall look not on par with major licensed games
Can only sim one game at the timeSummary
You have to admire a company such as Logique Eclectic. They work without any budget and had deliver this time around a very complete and unique game. When you compare this title to their previous effort, you clearly see the evolution.
Too bad Logique Eclectic has no budget to get some visibility, because their sim is clearly on par with the best simulation titles on the market -
"Maybe the most realistic artificial intelligence"
Version: GM Hockey 2009 2.02
Pros
Intelligence artificial
Replayability
Amount of unique features
In-depth hockey scienceCons
The game going slow between turns
The game mostly structured for the north american hockeySummary
Well, at first when i got to see what was the game, i was thinking about NHL Eastside Hockey Manager that was several years ago a great sim. But as i can see GM Hockey 2009 is more based about the real hockey science. Now, we finally got a game that the simulator doesn't looking like a soccer game. The first one, that the solo mode has a CPU that have an artificial intelligence almost the same caliber than in real life.
