Pros
If you just want a basic editor that's easy to use and has a more familiar layout use this. Don't download this thinking it will be an upgrade to the newest version of GIMP. You WILL be disappointed, many of the features are missing. But... still a good editor and definitely a hands down winner compared to MS paint.

The interface seems OK although I'm used to photoshop and still found this confusing. It has a lot of tools.
Cons
It kept doing strange things (like bits disappearing) and crashed repeatedly. I tried re-installing but just gave up on it in the end as there was little in the way of support to be found and too many problems....
If you just want simple features use Paint.NET or else go the whole hog and get Gimp. This beast is neither fish nor foul.....

I saw a little bit of good with the way it might allow you to edit photo's.
Cons
I did not like the way GIMPshop completely took over the setup of downloaded jpg's so I have removed this software from my computer completly along with all other files that go with this software.

First thing is free of cost and provide functionality of Photoshop which is a shareware.

It doesn't provide entire photoshop. That's missing in the GIMP.
