Version: GIMP 2.6.7
"This program was okay. not great"
Pros: mostly easy to use. not overly complicated. easy to download
Cons: could have been better. more advanced.

The program does not take a long time to load up.
Takes only a short time to download.
Overall, the program is fast, and does not suffer from lag or long load times.

Basic tools for photo editing. There was a decent amount of tools but less than what Photoshop provided.

The Format was simple and plain similar to that of Photoshop.

Ease of use
I did not find it especially easy to use. Things like the text tool and the crop tool were a bit confusing. It takes quite a while to know the tools and there are still more to learn about the program.
There is no re-sizing holders at the edge of images like many programs have when the image is selected, so it is hard to re-size. When working with pictures, the moving lines of the picture textbox gets jammed up. The lack of description on the side and the separated nature of all the toolboxes makes the program harder to use than usual.
Appearance
It was very plain looking and boxy too. They only had certain colors used and not a variety.
